One evening in May

Last week we visited our friend - Iwona in her beautifully located apartment right next to the Polski Theater. The view from the balcony on the third floor can improve the mood: lots of greenery and open space are a priceless but rare value of an apartment in the city center.

Two Russian cats complement the atmosphere of the place.

Breeding? (not at Iwona's!)

Koty

"Russian blue cat - a cat breed (Siamese and oriental cats), originating from western Russia. Also known as the Archangelsian cat or the Maltese cat. It is is a natural race.

The beginning of the breed dates back to the 17th century.

Russian blue cats have long been considered a special phenomenon, because in the seventeenth century they existed on the Polish princely courts. This breed did not need mystification, because its original phenotype remained unchanged for too long. Although similar to the European short-haired cat, it developed as a race independently of it. Their unusual fur is the result of climatic conditions and the isolation of the environment in which it was created. According to legend, the Russian blue she cat had Tsar Nicholas II, whom he entrusted even the greatest state secrets. Two representatives of this breed also Pope John Paul II had in the Vatican."
