A joint journey around the world of the author with his longtime partner has become a pretext to hold talks on topics provoked by stages and events of the trip. The talks concerned commenting on the reality being viewed and at the same time associations with the past from the lives of both men. This past is mainly the period before they get to know each other and start a life together. At that time, both were looking for their place in the family, in peer groups, at work, or among friends. They learned to live in the difficult role of gays in our country. Have they tamed the life?
During almost a six-month-trip they met, in each of the visited countries through social networks, many gays, thanks to whom they learned about the functioning of societies from very tolerant to extremely restrictive in relation to LGBT problems. Meetings and conversations with those people gave the author the opportunity to make multidimensional comparisons of how the manage their lives in their countries, when nature put one problem more. Did they also manage to tame the life?
